A quick rundown of the first couple’s session

ObiEbi: I already told you this relationship is nothing but a walking red flag, and I can’t believe Aunty couldn’t call Obi out on his manipulative ways. This low key mirrors our society, in all honesty. 

JayKech: A lot was left unsaid during their session, maybe because they would rather talk about important things off camera? I’m a bit worried about Nkechi changing herself to fit Jay’s spec, without her even knowing it. Jay has controlling tendencies he’s most likely suppressing because he’s on TV.

Bolar :These two are here for different things. Bolanle really want things to work, but Arnold is here for fame and money. They always look perfect and ready to work on their relationship in the presence of Aunty, but a completely different vibe when they leave. Hmmmm.

RoKsie:  Aunty is really invested in these two oh. Rosie’s man is still asking her if she’d like to live with his family. This man is 33, what in the ghetto is this question please? MiCherry: Cherry has stopped wearing “indecent” outfits because Micheal doesn’t like it. Well, Cherry has also gone to tell some women to stay away from her Micheal. These ones are just clowns, abeg.

DoubleChris: ‪Chris wasn’t his top 3 choice in the love pad, but limited resources had him coupling with Chris. Now, what pissed me off was how this guy kept making reference to her looks, as if he’s Ryan Gosling. He kept saying “regardless of how she looks”. That was condescending.

Yesterday, I told you guys Aunty was going to save one of the couples up for possible eviction. Well, day 17 came and Aunty saved Jeriton from eviction because they have synergy. Only God knows where Aunty saw this synergy.

See, I’m tired of Bolanle and Arnold’s relationship. What kind of partner throws you under the bus in front of other Love Guests? The good thing is that Bolanle is also a tough cookie and she’s beginning to match Arnold’s energy: kpa du kpa give and take. I need her to dump his ass tho. He’s not even worth the trouble, abeg.

Aunty Pls help us scatter relationships that are not working

Aunty is having a session with the couples tomorrow and I hope she will be as honest with them as possible. I mean, she’s told the girls how to dress modest, how to keep trying to make their relationship work, etc. but when will she drag these men that deserves to be dragged? Jervia had an ultimate divorce and picked new partners. They both picked from the new set of love guests. Now, we have:

Chris got a man, finally! After two weeks of being alone! Glad she didn’t check out alongside Uche. Now, they can stop treating Chris like she’s suffering from depression.

The unexpected open nomination sweet me, I won’t lie:

I’m not sure the love guests expected their nominations to be read out loud to everyone in the lounge area after submitting in a secret box. The look on their faces ehn, as if someone wrote it for them.

And that led to fight after the Live Show

I cant imagine myself explaining to people why I nominated them if I was on this show. It’s a show and nomination is just as important. Whoever I nominate will deal with it. The game is the game, please.

Aunty was in the house yesterday and the Love Guests finally had the opportunity to open up since they were paired on Sunday.

The Lucky Ones 

Theresa, Nkechi, Cherry, Jenny Koko, Ebi And Presh were all sure they got their missing ribs. They won’t be interested in swapping. They were using the word love so often that Aunty had to ask a few if they were sure it is Love. 

Cupid stay doing the most, because I had no idea this could happen in ten days.

No one learned from Rosie’s heartbreak that happened after loving David for five days, I see. 

Not so lucky ones 

Bolanle finally caught the memo that Arnold isn’t feeling her like she thought. Better late than never. Now that she’s guessing that he’s interested in Rosie, her friend, she’s open to swapping, and she likes Jerry. I don’t think Jerry is feeling her though, but I’ll let him do the talking.

What about Chris?

Chris is still single, and hoping Aunty would bring her a man she likes. Because she likes to spend time alone, some people think she’s depressed and unhappy. This is funny because everyone in that house is single to the pringle, some are just lucky enough to have partners to couple with.

Chris is fine though. She’s holding on strong, Some people just don’t understand there are people who like to be left to their thoughts, sometimes.

Sylvia complained to Aunty about Jerry’s unwillingness to make their relationship work, and she was adviced to keep at it, but put more effort into trying to be his friend, at least, for now.

Rosie is still healing but she’s willing to give Kachi a chance, as opposed to swapping. We hope it takes more than 5 business days for Rosie to find love this time.

Remember David and Rosie were already a couple before Presh came in and reclaimed her man, leaving Rosie hanging? David and Presh finally decided that they owe Rosie an apology. Actually, Presh coordinated it. She made David apologize several times and she equally apologized. Everything is settled now. Blended family, finally.

They want Rosie to forgive them so they can start cuddling and having sex in peace .

After all his drama, Uche finally left!

Aunty came into the house and told Uche he’s free to pack his bags and leave, and he did. So Chris is by herself now. No man. No love interest.

I like that she’s putting up a good front though, but they need to fix this ASAP. It’s unfair that she’d be asked to leave because of Uche’s foolishness. 

Can the Love Guests be allowed to pursue other love interests?

Except Therike, Jelo, Ebiobi, and JayKech, other couples don’t seem to be interested in their partner or their relationship, which is funny because they came to look for bae and aunty paired them according to their choice, no? They stay acting like they are in an arranged marriage and they are finding it hard to connect with their partner. This one pass me.

Technically, Chris is not the only single person in that house:

The Love Guests looking at Chris with pity but, they’re in a situation-ships with partners that have no interest in them. All of them plus Chris — same WhatsApp group. At least we know that Chris doesn’t have a love interest in the house, and there’s hope that Aunty might bring in man for her. Can’t say same for others. God safe them.

Roksie Vs Jervia swap

Rosie and Kachi can barely stand each other, They are thinking about swapping partners with Jervia, but Sylvia is not here for that rubbish. Rosie told Kachi she’s still hurting from her relationship with Jerry that lasted FIVE business days. Lmao. sis, get yourself together abeg. You’re hurting, but you want to swap bae? Just say you like Jerry.

No sleep for the wicked

David and Presh – I expected Presh to be having the time of her life with David, seeing as she scattered Rosie and David’s relationship and succeeded in getting paired with him. But she has since refused to talk to him. Men like wicked women, so i’m not even seeing the problem here.

Jerry and his young love

Jerry is finding it hard to bond with Sylvia, and my good sis that left university to find lover is having none of it. Jerry had the opportunity to leave if he wasn’t interested in Sylvia, but he chose to stay. He better start making it work. Nonsense.

We told you that yesterday, the love guests were getting paired by Aunty. We also gave you some predictions. Well, she finally came through with the list and it wasn’t without drama. When I say she didn’t pair them with her church mind, I’m not lying.

Six love guests didn’t have partners. They are: Chris, Jerry, Sylvia, Uche, Kachi, and Rosie. They had the option of either helping themselves out, or leaving the Love Pad voluntarily. They all chose the former.

Let’s get into the pairings shall we:

Bolanle and Arnold (Bolar). 

Mixed feelings about this couple. Bolanle likes Arnold for real, but you see that Arnold ehn? He thinks he’s here to play a game just to win money and become popular. He told Bolanle they have to play the game well, and my girl wasn’t having it. She made it clear to him that she was here for love, not to play a game! Sigh!

Iyke and Theresa (IykeResa)

I think their families should meet while they’re in the house, to speed up the marriage process. These ones are ready to love up till their names are on that check! 

Nkechi and Jay (JayKech): 

A bland couple, if you ask me. Nkechi and Jerry had all the sauce but Jay threatening to leave if he doesn’t get paired with his choice did a number on Nkechi. 

Jerry and Sylvia (Jervia). 

They have tried so hard to connect but, e no gel.  It’s like Jerry just can’t understand why a 23-year-old will leave school in her final year to look for love. They’re both trying; fingers crossed on this one.

Micheal and Cherry (MiCherry).

Remember cheerful Cherry? The one that doesn’t like men with bad temper? She quickly told her man that she’s not here for games, this is serious business and he needs to step up. Micheal has stepped up, and we’ve been getting some “awwwwnn” moments.  

David and Presh: (PreshDavid):

Presh successfully got her man back from Rosie sha. I have to stan. Now, both can continue their relationship from where they stopped. Rosie is heartbroken, but she will be fine.

 Kachi And Rosie (Roksie):

Rosie found her way back to Kachi. She spent the better part of her night pacing, meditating and drinking tea. She even removed her picture that was beside David’s own. I still can’t believe a week old situationship got Rosie so fucked up, but love is a bastard. Even Kachi too doesn’t like to be a second option. Sorry to this couple. 

Obi and Ebi (ObiEbi):

Obi must think he’s Daddy GO and Ebi is Mummy GO, because why was this guy saying no kissing, no touching, no cuddling. Are we here to play? Or did he not know that this show is rated 18+? Anyway, Ebi fasted and prayed for this, I’ll leave her to carry her cross. 

Chris and Uche (ChrisUch):

A moment of silence for how Chris was badly embarrassed on the live show. Remember how I said Chris and Uche were two of six people who were not paired? Well Uche and Chris decided to be in a “convenient-ship” and this didn’t go too well because after a while, Uche decided that he wanted to check out. But this was not possible as the time to check out had elapsed. They’re not even making any effort to bond, and that’s Uche’s fault, tbh. 

JennyKoko and Louis (Jelo): 

Jenny is used to dating men who are very much older than her, but she’s willing to give this change a chance. Louis has been a good sport, so maybe they can be the Ultimate Couple?

Each couple had to openly nominate two couples they’d love to see leave the house, and the three couples with the highest number of nominations are automatically up for possible elimination at the next Live Show..

David insisted that he didn’t pick Presh as his first choice, but Aunty pulled through and dropped the list for all to see. He actually did pick Presh as his first choice, and vice versa. Then Presh trying to act like she didn’t encourage him to drop Rosie so that they could continue from where they stopped before entering the Love Pad? Sis please.
