Adulting came and fucked up many good things. Some of these things are well-known, but there are others that nobody really talks about, even though they are important too. Well, it’s time to start thinking of them and finding effective solutions to them.

This is a list of some of them:

1. Finding what to watch on Netflix

A lot of people spend more time searching for what to watch on Netflix than actually watching something. Granted, Netflix is relatively new, but someone should have warned us that indecision is an integral part of adulting.  Money is wasting, abeg.

2. The problem of overpacking/underpacking

You always want to pack everything you need whenever you’re going on a trip. However, there is a possibility that you might take too much or too little. This comes with a lot of back and forth, chances are that you will overpack and under-pack at the same time — if this makes any sense. Fix this, oh Lord.

3. Making a grocery list

Because everyone tries to stock up their kitchen to cut down on the expenses of eating out, they make a list of what to buy. The only problem here is that no one is really sure of the quantity need. And if they are being honest, they know that they won’t cook anything unless they absolutely have to.

4. Getting out of buying an Aso-Ebi

Weddings are important parts of adulting life. For a while, they are cute, but after you’ve bought a handful of Aso-Ebi, you begin to see how wildly overrated and expensive they are. Like I’m happy that you’re getting married, but really I don’t need to buy your Aso-Ebi before you know that I support the marriage. What’s my support worth, anyway?”

5. Telling your friends that you don’t want to hang out without offending them

It’s established that you always want to sleep your other adulting problems away. Your friends can be in the way of this, talmabout how you’ve not hung out in a while. Sometimes, you want to. But during the times when you’re not feeling up to it, declining their invitation without feeling guilty is a big problem. We need to figure out how to do this.
