    What’s Hertitude?

    A large party for hot babes only. We think every woman is a hot babe, and we’re offering you a safe space to let your hair down, have fun and party till you drop.

    Since the first dispensation in 2022, HERtitude has welcomed over 5000 women to redefine and celebrate what it means to be a “hot babe”. We’ve witnessed iconic performances by Fave, SGawd, Bloody Civilian, Ria Sean and other spectacular artists on the HERtitude stage. 

    Many hot babes have gotten their first and second tattoos ever, met their current closest friends and gained unrivalled confidence at HERtitude. That’s the kind of community we’re building, and hot babe, it’s time to go again. 

    When and where is it happening?

    On Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., the hot girls of Lagos will descend somewhere on the island — more details on this when you get your tickets. Block your calendars now. Previous editions confirm that the side effects of attending HERtitude include not wanting to leave when it’s over.

    What to expect?

    The goal is to ensure you continue to feel VALUED, understood, confident and motivated to express yourself freely. In its third year, HERtitude is bringing you: The usual games like scavenger hunt, karaoke, board games, jenga and more.

    Opportunities to win prizes in a fashion show and dancing competition, and make new friends through our speed friendship sessions. Fun craft activities like paint and sip, candle-making, pottery, bracelet making and crocheting.

    We also have the very best vendors to bring you spa services, tattoo booths, manicure and pedicure stations, a relaxation lounge, yoga and meditation sessions. And an exciting music experience with celebrity DJ sets and live performances.

    While they act like anything but their age, here’s our hot babe playbook to make sure you keep the fire burning while we plan the hottest party of the year for girls only.

    Get a mantra

    A little insider secret from a self-proclaimed hot babe: if you stand in front of your mirror for ten minutes a day and chant “I’m a hot babe” six times, you’ll become one. Once you step outside, other people will know a hot babe has arrived.

    Believe in your sauce

    As long as the sun shines and the moon comes out at night, you’re the hottest babe to ever exist, and you better believe it. If you don’t believe in your hotness, how would other people believe in it? 

    Do what makes you happy 

    Love who you want, wear what you want, and do what you want. As long as no one’s getting hurt by it, you should definitely do it.  If anybody has anything to say about it, clear them and report to us. We’ll take it up from there. 

    Get your money up

    As a hot babe who has stared into sapa’s eyes before, I’m here to tell you that you need to get your money up. It might take a while, and it won’t be the easiest thing, but you need to start making money moves before sapa and his siblings pour ice-cold water on your hotness.

  • A great event is characterised by the food, music, cliques, vibes and variety of outfits. These and lots more were what the just concluded HERtitude event was about. The ambience was vibrant, radiating excitement, fun and the I’m-about to-let-go-of-any-home-training-I-came-here-with energy.

    The event was packed with activities including a fashion show, twerking competition, speed friendship, sip and paint, candle making, massage sessions, board games and karaoke, awakening the adventurer in all the hot ladies present. The fashion show was top on our list of exciting activities as we saw budding models on the runway — you’d think it was Lagos Fashion Week. Amidst all of that fun, trust gomoney to do their thing — cheering the hot babes and dishing out gifts to winners at the end of the fashion show. 

    Then there was the speed friendship session; ladies were caught in action, exchanging numbers. Whoever said ladies are not super friendly to each other? Well, the hot babes at HERtitude 2023 were, and we are pretty sure every lady present made one hot friend! 

    We weren’t playing around when we said, “Every woman deserves a break”. gomoney made this more remarkable by giving the hot ladies a well-deserved pampering. From free meal tickets to care boxes and other goodies, this is one event that would live rent-free in the ladies’ minds.

    You thought we were going to end it here without mentioning the music? You know what they say about how music brings people together? HERtitude 2023 was no different. Save the karaoke, the DJ filled the air with a mix of electrifying beats and infectious melodies, and the dance floor was filled with energy from all the hot babes who came prepared. From old-school classics to modern hits, the music transcended generations, creating an atmosphere of absolute bliss.

    HERtitude by Zikoko was just perfect for the hot babes in Lagos to unwind, recharge and take care of themselves. It was also a cheerful reminder that self-love is important and ladies should prioritise their well-being. It was a day filled with unforgettable moments and fun times. The hot babes unleashed their inner warriors and found solace on the dance floor. They found new sisters and created memories — one that wouldn’t be forgotten in a hurry.

  • Last Saturday, the hottest party for Nigerian women in 2023 happened. All the hot babes gathered in Ikoyi, Lagos and had so much fun that they HERtitude the talk of the town.

    Amidst the buzz, there were clamours for a male-only party, and banter about whether the male version would be as successful as HERtitude.

    I’ve been facepalming at all the comments and laughing at jokes about how guys can’t have fun without babes.

    I spoke to nine Nigerian men, and this is what they had to say about the idea of a men-only party, or HIMtitude, if you will.

    “It’ll work, but only in small groups.”

    — Conrad, 28.

    It won’t work unless the activities are competitive (either men are the ones competing or they’re watching others compete). Men can’t party together just for partying sake. Ko le werk because the essence of why it was created is lost when it becomes an arena of games. HERtitude was a party. Like, literally just a party. The games they played at the start were mostly warm ups for a night of dancing and drinking. I don’t think we need something that sells itself as the male version of HERtitude. Instead, we should have something completely removed from it. It’s like having an original story as opposed to trying to remake or continue a franchise.

    “I will not be there.”

    — Dolapo, 25.

    “It may sound cliche but it’s only going to bang if there are football matches, board games, drinks, food, and the likes. But I don’t think it’s going to sell because guys like it when they can mingle and make friends with girls. As for me,, I won’t be attending.”

    “HERtitude was for women. Let them enjoy it, please.”

    “I don’t want to see any HIMtitude or BROtitude abeg. We do these things all the time at bars, lounges, sports pitches, etc. The reason why it’s novel for women is because there are not a lot of spaces that accommodate women alone and it’s largely because men will go into those spaces and try to exert dominance. But men have so many spaces like that. Let women have this one, please.”

    “HIMtitude will be dope for men to teach other men what they should know.”

    — Ayodeji, 27.

    “I think I like HIMtitude, it has a ring to it. I expect to see bottles, chow, games ranging from PlayStation to football, jenga, table tennis and the likes. Musical performances, a smash room, barbers with free haircuts, people teaching men how to do general life stuff that a fatherly figure would have taught you; knotting a tie, changing tyres, etc, prostrate cancer awareness with free tests, etc.”

    Only macho contests and games can bring me to a HIMtitude event

    — Adeolu, 30.

    I might not attend a HIMtitude event, but if I did, I would expect  to see a game booth where you can play one on one games with other guys, like Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, FIFA, etc. Also, drinks, tug of war and other macho contests.

    “A men-only party isn’t bad, but with physical and video games”

    I think it should be more of an interactive event than a ‘show’ event. There should be interactive activities, games and more games. That’s what I’d like to see.

    “A movie booth because I don’t like sports or games.”

    “I’d very much like to have a movie booth at a men-only party. I’m not a fan of football or games, so usually movies are where the magic is for me. It would make sense to have some of my guys come around and we see a movie together, something like fast and furious. Everyone has gotten so busy these days, it would be nice to catch up as a group. HIMtitude, run it for me, abeg.”

    “There should be childhood games.”

    — Fortune, 25.

    A male version of HERtitude will make sense with the right things in place. Guys bond on different things, so there has to be categories of activities to do. A video game joint will make sense. Runway fashion, art display, music, painting and pure vibes. Spoken word including riddles and gist (riddles in pidgin can be fun). There can be games we used to play as kids like those ‘dancing around the chair,’ ‘name of things that you know’ and other stuff.”
