There’s so much new music being released that it’s hard for even the most loyal fans to wade through the trash to find the gems. That’s why we’ve created #BumpThis – a Friday series that features new songs, by and featuring Nigerians, that you absolutely need to hear.

Teni & DJ Neptune — “Isolate”

Last week, Teni teamed up with DJ Neptune to deliver a solid 4-track project, The Quarantine Playlist. While every song is impressive in its own right, the clear standout is the immensely sexy “Isolate”.

Previously teased on social media, the studio version is even more infectious than we could have hoped. “Isolate” is easily one of Teni’s strongest songs to date, and that’s really saying something.

Sess — “Taka Sufe”

Sess has been one of Nigeria’s most exciting producers for a while now, but he really got his chance to shine on Falz’s Moral Instruction. Now, he’s proven himself to be just as impressive an artist with “Taka Sufe”.

On the TMXO-produced track, Sess’ first single as a lead artist, he gets to show off his rather impressive voice. It’s a commendable debut effort, one that hints at even bigger and better things to come.
