There’s so much new music being released that it’s hard for even the most loyal fans to wade through the trash to find the gems. That’s why we’ve created #BumpThis – a Friday series that features new songs, by and featuring Nigerians, that you absolutely need to hear.

Olamide — “Choko Milo”

For the past eight years, Olamide has been one of Nigeria’s most relentless artists, dropping more songs and projects than anyone else on his level. This means he always has at least one major hit on rotation at any given point in time.

While he’s already dropped two songs like that this year — the ebullient “Oil & Gas” and the immensely catchy “Pawon” — Olamide is back with “Choko Milo”, an unsurprisingly solid single that feels destined to have a similar effect.

Produced by Spaceboy Mercury, “Choko Milo” is an instantly infectious track that benefits from strong production work and Olamide’s killer flow. It’s another party-starter from the hard-working star, and it might just be his best effort of the year.
