• In a vibrant Independence Day celebration, Sony unveiled  the expansion of its ULT POWER SOUND series, designed to make you feel like you have dived into the front row of the arena. The newly launched party speakers includes the ULT Tower 9, ULT Field 5, ULT Field 3 and ULTMIC1, held at an exclusive launch event hosted at the Sheraton Lagos Hotel, Ikeja.

    Designed for personal, home, and on-the-go listening, the lineup combines festival-level bass, portability, and smart connectivity to match Nigeria’s energetic lifestyle. The launch drew influencers, top media houses, lifestyle and tech bloggers, as well as industry partners for live demonstrations, and curated listening sessions and a chance to win exclusive giveaways. 

    The introduction builds on Sony’s 2024 debut of the ULT Power Sound series in Nigeria, which broadened its high-power portable audio footprint. With the ULT Tower 9, ULT Field 5 and ULT Field 3, Sony is bringing that same immersive sound into compact, lifestyle-ready designs.

    The event kicked off with a welcome reception at 7 PM, where attendees were treated to cocktails and canapés. 

    The evening’s activities were hosted by a lively hype man, Toppy Banks and featured a captivating performance by a karaoke guitarist, DwinTheStoic and Pdatruth., blending music and product insights that highlighted the exceptional benefits of the ULT Power Sound series.

    Lagos, Nigeria – March 28th, 2024 – The Sony Creators Convention 2024 concluded on Saturday, March 23rd, 2024, with resounding success, leaving attendees inspired, informed, and equipped with the tools to take their content creation to the next level.  Hosted by Daro Umaigba, the event brought together a diverse community of creators from art and culture to the digital content creation sphere for a day packed with workshops, discussions, and practical sessions.

    Having taken place at the vibrant Nexthought Creative Hub in Lekki, Lagos, the convention aimed to celebrate the convergence of creativity and technology while empowering attendees with valuable insights to fuel their professional growth and explore new horizons in content creation.

Kelechi Amadi-Obi’s presentation on turning inspiration into action resonated with the attendees. At the same time, Adaora Mbelu, Tobi Ayeni, Fisayo Fosudo, and Salem King offered invaluable insights into diversifying revenue streams and forging lasting partnerships. In addition, Anjola Awosika, Tilewa Odedina, and Ify Igwe also facilitated a riveting masterclass in food photography, offering practical tips for elevating creative pursuits to professional heights.

  • Nigeria, March 19, 2024: Sony brings an electrifying atmosphere to Nigeria, as it unveils its exclusive lineup of the X series party speakers. Having taken place on Friday March 15th at the famous Ikeja Computer Village and Saturday March 16th at the Ikeja City Mall, the activation aimed to spread awareness amongst consumers and retailers set against a vibrant market and mall focused setting.
