I think everyone knows that having privilege is one of the best ways of turning a setback into a fresh opportunity. I know I thought about this a lot while writing this week’s Naira Life. Not everyone can survive losing two well-paying job in less than two years, but the lady in this story seems to have moved on fairly quickly. In fact, she’s taking a break from capitalism to return to school.
My favourite thing about her is how she knows when to be independent and when to leverage her privilege. Must be nice to be her.
