  • The Stanbic IBTC FUZE Talent Show 4.0 is more than a competition; it is a vibrant showcase of Nigeria’s youth, where raw talent meets opportunity. From music and dance to fashion and tech, FUZE offers a stage for young creatives to shine. At the heart of this journey are four remarkable judges – Amy Aghomi, Akinwande Akinsulire, Korede Bello, and Don Flexx, who serve not just as evaluators but as mentors shaping the next generation of Nigerian artistry. Let’s delve into the impressive judges of FUZE Talent Show 4.0

Amy Aghomi: Weaving identity through fashion

Amy Aghomi, a visionary in Nigerian fashion, is known for fusing African heritage with modern luxury. Her “Diamond and Water” gown, worn by Mercy Eke at AMVCA 2025 turned heads globally. Amy believes fashion is a language of identity, and she urges young designers to tell their stories through fabric. “Fashion is more than clothing, it’s a language of identity, culture, and self-expression,” Amy shares. Her mentorship is rooted in authenticity, helping contestants embrace bold aesthetics while staying true to their roots.

    Akinwande: Pioneering creativity through technology

As Director of Engineering at Co-Creation Hub, Akinwande brings a dynamic blend of innovation and creativity to the FUZE stage. He encourages contestants to embrace technology as a medium for artistic exploration, urging them to experiment with platforms like Augmented Reality (AR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to expand their creative boundaries. “Technology is no longer just a tool; it’s a space where artists can discover new dimensions of their craft,” he explains. His mentorship inspires young creatives to think beyond convention and use digital innovation to amplify their expression.

Korede Bello: Crafting authentic narratives in music

Korede Bello, a household name in Nigerian music, brings a wealth of experience and insight to the FUZE stage. With hits like “God Win” and “Romantic,” Korede Bello knows the power of storytelling through music. He connects deeply with contestants, urging them to write from the heart. “Every song is a story only you can tell,” he says. His mentorship helps young musicians find their voice, refine their sound, and perform with emotional depth.

Don Flexx: Creating moves that make a difference

Nonso Asobe Cajetan, popularly known as Don Flexx, is a celebrated dancer, choreographer, and instructor whose work has shaped the Nigerian dance scene. Best known as the official choreographer for P-Square, Don Flexx has collaborated with top artists like Banky W, bringing precision, energy, and cultural flair to music videos and live performances.

His style blends traditional Nigerian movements with contemporary techniques, creating choreography that’s both rooted and revolutionary. Through workshops and mentorship, Don Flexx empowers young dancers to see beyond steps and routines. “Dance isn’t just movement, it’s how we speak without words, how we connect, how we remember,” he says. His guidance helps contestants channel emotion, culture, and storytelling into every performance, turning the stage into a space of meaning and impact.

    A collective vision for transformation

Together, these judges form a powerhouse panel, each bringing a unique lens to the FUZE experience. Their mentorship transforms the show into a journey of growth, creativity, and self-discovery, proving that with the right guidance, Nigeria’s rising stars can light up the world.

  • It was an evening of celebration, luxury, and gratitude as Stanbic IBTC Bank hosted the grand prize presentation for its maiden “Save and Enjoy” promo at its corporate headquarters in Victoria Island, Lagos, on Thursday, 19 June 2025.

The event, held at the Stanbic IBTC Towers, saw four lucky Private Banking clients rewarded with open business class tickets to global destinations: the United Kingdom, United States, or Canada. This was the climax of a promo campaign aimed at encouraging a saving culture while appreciating the bank’s loyal private banking clientele.

In addition to the grand travel prizes, other top-tier rewards included one-year Priority Pass access to over 900 international airport lounges for five clients, and vintage trolley boxes for 32 clients. The evening doubled as a media parley and networking session, drawing clients from across the country.

    Celebrating Client Commitment

Delivering the opening remarks, Layo Ilori-Olaogun, Head, Private Banking, Stanbic IBTC Bank, warmly welcomed attendees and emphasised the bank’s enduring commitment to providing tailored, wealth-sustaining services. She added that the bank recognises the immense value that clients bring and reaffirms its mission to enable wealth creation, preservation, and transfer.

L-R: Layo Ilori-Olaogun, Head, Private Banking, Stanbic IBTC Bank; Bunmi Dayo-Olagunju, Deputy Chief Executive, Stanbic IBTC Bank; Nnamdi Nwokolo, Prize Recipient; Okeke Ezinwa, Prize Recipient, and Taiwo Ala, Head, Products, Stanbic IBTC Bank, during the Private Banking Media Parley and Grand Prize Presentation held at Stanbic IBTC Towers, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Ilori-Olaogun remarked, “We are fully committed to driving the growth of Nigeria not only with our services, but also without various embedments in community and in the economy to drive sustainable growth.”

She noted that the reward initiative is a tangible way to show appreciation to clients who participated in the campaign, recognising their trust and continued engagement with the bank’s evolving private banking offerings.

    Redefining private banking in Nigeria

The evening also served as a platform to introduce Stanbic IBTC’s newly enhanced and rebranded private banking suite. The upgraded value propositions include:

    • Dedicated relationship managers and support teams
    • Zero Current Account Management (CAM) fees on hybrid current accounts
    • Instant credit card issuance
    • Paperless digital loans
    • Discounted insurance and trust services
    • Exclusive event invitations
    • And access to specialised offshore banking
    • Balancing digital with human connection

The event also included a Q&A session with members of the press, where Stanbic IBTC executives spoke about the importance of merging digital innovation with personalised banking. Ilori-Olaogun confirmed that AI is already integrated into their digital platforms to enhance client experiences and support relationship managers in tailoring financial solutions.

“Our AI-powered systems analyse client data in real time, enabling our relationship managers to make smarter, faster, and more personalised recommendations,” Ilori-Olaogun said. “Still, we believe technology should complement, not replace, human relationships, especially in private banking.”

    More to come

Closing the night, the bank expressed its hopes that the “Save and Enjoy” promo becomes a recurring tradition, strengthening relationships with clients and incentivising smart financial habits.

  • When Naomi Abe-Ezekiel first signed up for InvestBeta, she thought it was just another online competition — quick trivia, some laughs, maybe a prize. But by the time the cameras started rolling, she realised she was in for something deeper.

“InvestBeta didn’t just test what I knew; it taught me what I didn’t even realise I needed to know,” she said.

That same story echoed across contestants — from students to creative hustlers. Young Nigerians who had never really paused to understand investing suddenly found themselves answering financial question and seeing finance as a tool.

This is the magic of InvestBeta, the financial literacy game show by Stanbic IBTC Asset Management — and now, it is back for Season 2.

“It wasn’t just a show. It opened my eyes,” said Ediomi Udoh, a winner who once thought saving meant hoarding money in a regular bank account.

“Now, I understand things like compound interest, investment risks, and building long-term wealth.”

So what is  the big deal?

Season 2 promises bigger challenges, more relatable stories, and a wider community of young people ready to turn curiosity into clarity. InvestBeta is a financial literacy competition designed by Stanbic IBTC Asset Management to make money talk less intimidating — and a whole lot more exciting. Young Nigerians between 18 and 24 come together to compete in investment-themed challenges, solving financial puzzles and making smart money moves for the chance to win cool prizes and — more importantly — build money confidence.

The show lives under the umbrella of Beyond Dreams, Stanbic IBTC’s youth community created to help people like Seyi — and maybe like you — get serious about their future without losing their sense of fun. It is where young people learn how to grow wealth, build discipline, and turn dreams into plans. With over 90,000 members, and more than 2,100 investment accounts opened through its influence, Beyond Dreams has become a quiet force driving financial literacy from the ground up.

You do not need to be a finance expert only to have it all figured out. You also need curiosity and the willingness to start. That is what InvestBeta offers: clarity, confidence, and community.

And this season, there is a new opportunity: you can be on the show.

Sign up for free on BluNest using the link https://bit.ly/StanbicIBTCInvestBeta or follow @beyonddreamsng on Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), and TikTok, and join the community that is redefining what it means to be young and financially empowered in Nigeria.

And for those who missed the first season, full episodes are available to watch on Stanbic IBTC’s official YouTube channel: https://youtube.com/@StanbicIBTC.

This is the time to play smart.

One of the winners, Livinus Nnamani, a plumber, stated that he was pleasantly surprised by the news of his selection among the winners. “When I received the text message notification, I thought it was from fraudsters; however, when I visited the Stanbic IBTC Bank branch at Okota Road, it was there that I confirmed that I had truly won,” he said. “Seeing the money reflected in my bank account balance has convinced me that the promo is real. I will use the money for the payment of my children’s school fees, and I will continue to save with Stanbic IBTC Bank.”
