Just less than 24 hours after Priscilla Ojo and Juma Jux opened an Instagram page for their son, Prince Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala, his account has gained over 141k followers and counting. His handle is @rakeem_mk.

Priscilla Ojo’s mother, Iyabo Ojo, broke the news on Instagram that the couple had welcomed a son on Sunday night. “Say hello to the latest sexiest grandma in town, my grandson is the cutest @rakeem_mk,” she said in the post. Prince Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala was born in Canada.

The couple first announced that they were expecting a baby in July. In the announcement post, the couple wore matching white T-shirts and blue denim and posed together for the photo with printed copies of the ultrasound. They captioned it, “MOM & DAD 🤍✨ BLESSED • GRATEFUL • THANKFUL.”

Priscilla and Juma got married in February, with a series of events tagged #JP2025 that stretched into May. They included a traditional Muslim wedding or nikah, Mother of the Bride Day, a civil wedding, a white wedding, and a grand finale reception and after‑party in Tanzania.

Celebrity Babies on Social Media

Many celebrities have opened social media accounts for their children in the past. The skit maker, Lasisi’s daughter Rain Olanma Oluwanifemi Afolabi, has over 179k followers on Instagram.

Tomike Adeoye’s daughter, Tomike Olajumoke Aria Adeoye, has over 86k followers on Instagram. Some celebrities choose to keep their children’s accounts private and monitor the follow requests they accept. Linda Ejiofor-Suleiman and Ibrahim Suleiman have their son, Keon Iman Suleiman’s account private. However, he still has over 21k followers.

This underscores how children of celebrities are inheriting their parents’ fan base in a new age where social media has become highly lucrative and influential. With Prince Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala in particular, it shows has fans of his paarent have become increasingly intersted in his life even before he was born.

It is not clear what kind of content Priscilla and Juma are planning to post on the page, but we can expect cute baby-parent photos, birthday vlogs, and first-day-at-school posts.
