Sometimes, all you want to do is curl up on a couch and enjoy some premium entertainment. Especially; in a month like December that just has this holiday feeling and vibe to it. However, the best way to ensure you get this kind of entertainment is to watch a series that will excite, keep you at the edge of your seat and leave you wanting more.

Interestingly, we have four series that fit that bill perfectly, and it will be ridiculous if you miss them. Here are four Africa Magic series you do not want to miss this month.

1. Dilemma

It has all the makings of your perfect telenovela. It ticks all these boxes – a wealthy and influential family, forbidden love story, crime, murder, revenge, romance, and intrigue. This show that will fill you with nostalgia with its take on the 90s in Nigeria is the perfect way to relax after a long workday. The drama will have you wondering what will happen next. Wrap up and get ready to enjoy 30 minutes of pure joy every weekday from 8 pm on Africa Magic Showcase (Ch 151).

2. Venge

It follows Bibi, played by the delectable Uzoamaka Aniunoh and her journey from doe-eyed restauranteur to top-class prison leader. Bibi’s villainous ex-fiancee and premium jerk will get your blood boiling. Bibi’s naiveness will make you want to knock some sense into her. In addition, the resident don, Chief Yabura, will make you want to pray for protection from unknown enemies. Venge is the most exciting content to consume after a crazy day of work. Catch it every weekday on Africa Magic Showcase (Ch 151) at 8:30 pm.

3. The Rishantes:

if you like living the rich life vicariously through others and if you enjoyed Africa Magic’s series, Halita, as much as we did, then you should definitely be watching this. It follows Halita, her powerful father and aunt, The Rishante siblings, and all the drama they have to go through. It is also a bonus that the fashion on this show is top-notch. If nothing else keeps you glued to this show on Africa Magic Urban (ch 153) every weekday from 8 pm, then at least Bez’s voice on the theme song should do the trick.

4. Movement Japa:

There is one reality almost every Nigerian youth can relate to – the intense need to escape Nigeria in search of greener pastures. In this series, Gideon Okeke, Sambasa Nzeribe, and Shasnay Okawa lead chaotic lives as they try to get out of the country. After surviving getting kidnapped in the Libyan desert, Shina (Gideon) and his friends will try one more time to get out of ‘Naija’ by hook or crook. Their sufferings and confusion are as hilarious as it is hectic, and it is the perfect way to calm down after a stressful Monday. It airs every Monday at 9 pm on Africa Magic Showcase (Ch 151).
