• AMVCA 2025: The Complete List of Winners

    This year, many categories presented strong competition, with legends of the industry and rookie actors nominated for the same awards.

    The 11th Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) was held in Lagos on Saturday, and the biggest and brightest Africans in entertainment were celebrated for their performance. This year, many categories presented strong competition, with legends of the industry and rookie actors nominated for the same awards.

    In the Best Actress category, Chioma Akpotha won for her performance in Seven Doors. Femi Adebayo also won the Best Actor category for Seven Doors. Best Director went to Awam Amkpa, for his Wole Soyinka biopic The Man Died. Freedom Way won Best Movie.
