The Communication Students’ Association of Lagos State University (COSA-LASU), representing students of the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, in partnership with the Association of Faculty Presidents (AFP), is set to host The Blue Origin Project, a one-day student-led initiative designed to inspire creativity, innovation, and leadership among students.
Scheduled for April 22, 2026, the event will bring together over 3,000 students, creatives, entrepreneurs, and tech enthusiasts for an engaging day of learning, collaboration, and creative exploration.
This year’s theme, X-Factor, celebrates each student’s unique creative niche. The event will showcase how students can harness their individual talents to make an impact in the digital and creative industries. Attendees will enjoy panel discussions, keynote sessions, networking opportunities, and live performances, all centred on creativity, innovation, and practical skills for the future.
Organised through the Office of the President of COSA-LASU, the Blue Origin Project aims to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world experience by connecting students with industry leaders and innovators.
“With X-Factor as our guiding theme, we want every student to see and explore their unique potential,” said the organisers. “This is a space where creativity meets opportunity.”
With anticipation already building, The Blue Origin Project promises to be one of the most exciting student-led events at the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, Lagos State University, in 2026.
