• Personal Care Is in Fashion, and NIVEA Proved It at Lagos Fashion Week 2026

Looking good is one thing, but feeling good in what you wear is where it’s really at.

Fashion enthusiasts know that a good outfit day is more than just finding the perfect fit. Confidence elevates the look, and how you care for yourself plays a part in your overall composure.

At Lagos Fashion Week 2026, NIVEA brought personal care into the fashion conversation with its Black & White Invisible runway showcase, a panel discussing the connection between grooming and personal style, and brand activations. Because looking good is one thing, but feeling good in what you wear is where it’s really at.

Here are five ways NIVEA showed up and proved that personal care will always be in fashion.

    1. It gave black-and-white fashion its own runway moment

NIVEA brought its Black & White Invisible range to the runway with a showcase designed around classic black-and-white looks. The outfits, designed by Fruche, drew inspiration from the range’s promise to help protect clothes from white deodorant marks and yellow stains.

It was a stylish way to bring a familiar wardrobe concern into the fashion conversation. After all, no one wants to go about their day with pesky white deodorant marks on their favourite outfits.

    2. It brought a surprise twist to the runway show

When you think of a fashion runway show, you think clothes. However, NIVEA added a little surprise product demonstration to the mix. As models walked the runway in Fruche’s designs, they also sprayed NIVEA Black & White Invisible.

It was an unexpected way to introduce the product to the audience and show how something as everyday as deodorant can boost confidence and elevate an entire look.

    3. It reminded everyone why black and white outfits deserve extra care

Black and white outfits are wardrobe staples, but they come with their own little struggles. You have to worry about potential white marks on black clothes and yellowish stains on white.

NIVEA Black & White Invisible is designed to help prevent both, with anti-white-mark protection for black clothing and anti-yellow-stain protection for white clothing. The range also offers sweat and odour protection and comes in roll-on and spray formats for men and women.

Basically, you can spend less time worrying about deodorant stains and more time enjoying your outfit.

    4. It got Kie Kie, Akin Faminu and Stan Nze talking about confidence

Beyond the runway, NIVEA also sponsored a panel session titled “Wearable Confidence: The Intersection of Skincare, Body Care and Personal Style.”

Moderated by Nnenna Onoh (Category Brand Manager, Personal Care, CEWA Beiersdorf), the conversation featured celebrity faves Kie Kie, Akin Faminu and Stan Nze.

The speakers discussed how grooming, skincare and personal care influence confidence and self-expression. They also challenged the idea that skincare is only for women, making the case that looking after yourself is everyone’s business.

    5. It made a case for feeling good in whatever colour you choose

Whether you’re an all-black-everything person or someone who loves a crisp white outfit, your clothes should let you express yourself without unnecessary worries.

That’s the idea behind NIVEA Black & White Invisible. Its anti-stain protection, alongside sweat and odour protection, is designed to make getting dressed a little less stressful. Selected products in the range also offer up to 48-hour antiperspirant protection.

With its runway showcase and panel that brought together voices from fashion, entertainment, and lifestyle, NIVEA sparked a conversation about making personal care part of everyone’s routine. Whether your style is laid-back or full-on fashion week, feeling good in what you wear matters.
