2am is usually known as the perfect time for letting our recklessness thrive, and 2am in December is no different. In fact, it’s worse. In December, everyone wants to let their hair down and have all the fun they can before January reminds them of real-life responsibilities. So, to welcome the highly anticipated month of the year, we decided to compile a list of 2am texts you might definitely come across in December. 

1. “Leave wherever you are and come to this new spot” 

You are at a party on the mainland, the new spot is on the island, and you know how bad the traffic can get, but you will still go. We can’t blame you sha. 

2. “I’m in your city. Do you want to hang out?” 

If this text is from an ex, we implore you to air it because nothing good will come of it; if it’s not, carry on. Nothing good might come out of that one, too, but jaiye lo. 

3. “I’m outside your house.” 

There is an 80% chance that you are being dragged to an event. Good luck with that. 

4. “I’ll be there in twenty minutes.” 

We all know it’s important to believe this one at our own risk. 

5. “Let’s go to this place” 

Not exactly the best text to get when you are exhausted, but you suffer from FOMO. 

6. “I miss you” 

The year is coming to a close. Of course, they will want to crawl back into your life.
