  • Just as we anticipated, Biggie is bringing an interesting twist to the season by introducing the BBNaija All-Stars eviction jury.

    The play here is to bring ex-housemates from different seasons who will deliberate to save one of the housemates from possible eviction. The jury will be presented with a list of the housemates with the least votes for the week. 

    While we wait for Biggie to announce the members of the jury, here’s the Zikoko pick for premium drama.

    Tacha

    She was disqualified from the Pepper Dem season, so her chances of making the jury are quite slim. Still if Tacha makes the jury selection, Mercy Eke would not be safe. But then, Mercy is a strong contender and the possibility of her even making the bottom three is almost non-existent.

    Mike Edwards

    Known as the resident sweet boy of his season, Mike has a soft spot for Mercy since they were the last men standing in their season. Mike will fight for Mercy if her name ever pops up for possible eviction.

    Vee

    If there’s one thing we know about Vee, it’s that she won’t attach sentiments to her decisions as a member of the jury. But Neo and Venita should put up prayers if they make the bottom three, just in case.

    Esther

    It’s hard to forget Frodd and Esther’s falling out during the Pepper Dem reunion. Esther went on and on about how Frodd was a gossip. He mentioned how she moved with “friends in the upper echelon”. Although it’s hard to say if they’re still bitter exes, Frodd should watch his back if Esther makes the BBNaija All-Stars eviction jury.

    Ella

    She had a nasty falling out with Mercy Eke, and there’s no way her emotions wouldn’t override her decision-making if she’s chosen as a jury member. She also doesn’t have a cordial relationship with anyone in the house, so no one is safe really.

    Ka3na

    If there’s any prayer request Tolani Baj should be prioritising right now, it’s one against the boss lady Ka3na making the jury selection. The two had a nasty fight their first week in Biggie’s house, and they never saw eye-to-eye till the end of the show. Tbaj is not safe in a world where Ka3na is a juror, period.

    Lucy

    Her iconic statement, “It was a pleasure”, was a culmination of her unpleasant experiences with her fellow housemates in the Lockdown house. Lucy won’t go easy on Kidd, Tolani Baj and Neo if she’s selected as an All-Stars juror.

    Boma

    Boma’s falling out with Angel in the Shine Ya Eyes house makes for one of the most chaotic moments in BBNaija history. Although they seem to have moved past it, Angel might not escape eviction if Boma has to make a decision. Lucky day for Whitemoney and Pere sha. 

    Brighto

    He was such a menace in the Lockdown season that he earned a reputation as the Lord Baelish of Nigeria. Brighto has no sense of allegiance to anybody, and it wouldn’t matter whose head is on the chopping block if he has to make a decision as a juror, he’ll get them evicted with no strings attached.

  • It’s been seven days since the BBNaija All-Stars launched and at this point, it’s safe to say Big Brother had absolute chaos in mind when he made the season’s selection.

    BBNaija All Stars Housemates With Pending Beef to Settle

    The housemates are already throwing hints of needing therapy and honestly, we get it. It’s not easy to be in the same space 24/7 with your sworn opp or ex-lover. In case you didn’t know, these are the BBNaija All-Stars housemates who had pending beef before they stepped into the house.

    Ike and Mercy

    Mercy and Ike were the power couple of the Pepper Dem season but the relationship crashed hard when they left the house. They’ve thrown shots at each other on social media and during interviews but nothing over the top. Maybe this explains the reduced tension between them in the house.

    Ceec and Alex

    The duo has gone down in history as the first set to bicker in the All-Stars house but their beef dates back years ago. Alex and CeeC were housemates in the Double Wahala season but they never saw eye-to-eye. It didn’t help that they had a mutual friend in common-Tobi Bakre. 

    Ceec had a situationship with Tobi and Alex also had a strong friendship with him. But things got ugly when Alex frowned at the way Ceec treated her friend, Tobi. All attempts at a resolution in the house and at the reunion fell flat. During the reunion, Ceec also claimed that she found out Tobi and Alex had sex despite their ‘best friends’ tag.

    Doyin and Adekunle

    Their heated gbas-gbos during the last reunion is still fresh in our minds so what exactly is the play here Biggie? Adekunle and Doyin weren’t fans of each other in the Level Up house. For Adekunle, she was always in everyone’s business while Doyin maintains that Adekunle cannot be trusted. Anyway, they’ve both been avoiding each other since they stepped into the All-Stars house and it doesn’t look like there’s going to be a resolution anytime soon.

    Pere and Whitemoney

    If the BBNaija organisers had a play here, it’s falling hard because these guys might have even forgotten they have beef. Pere was Whitemoney’s opp in the Shine Ya Eyes house. He wasn’t a fan of Whitemoney monopolizing the kitchen and he made his dislike crystal clear. The boys are getting along in the All-Stars house sha, even though it might be a fake bromance.

    Neo and Venita

    It’s barely visible but there’s been tension between the cousins before they stepped into the All-Stars house. Venita didn’t approve of Neo’s relationship with fellow housemate Vee Iye inside and outside the BBNaija house, and she occasionally threw shade on social media. Neo didn’t like this and also addressed Venita in a couple of his media rounds. So far, they’ve been cautiously cordial towards each other in the house.

  • Big Brother is going all out to make the All-Stars season different for ex-housemates who are back in his house for another season.

    It’s going to be a whole different game and we’re here for all the drama. But first, here’s what we know so far about how Biggie plans to run the BBNaija All-Stars eviction.

    BBNaija All-Stars Eviction: All the Twists and Turns

    A standing rule from past editions is Biggie’s gag order on nomination talk. That’s changing this season as housemates are free to discuss who they want to put up for possible eviction. 

    This week, Angel, Ilebaye, Doyin, Princess and Tolani Baj all nominated Venita. But, Ilebaye and Angel went with different options in the diary room.

    Black Envelope challenge

    BBNaija All-Stars Eviction: All the Twists and Turns

    To escape the BBNaija All-Stars eviction, housemates will have to hustle to find two envelopes every Monday at 7pm during the Black Envelope Challenge. One of the envelopes grants the finder immunity from eviction for the week. 

    Mercy Eke found the first black envelope of the season. Frodd found a second envelope that read “Better luck next time”.

    Nominate a single housemate

    Unlike the other seasons where housemates nominate two contestants for possible eviction, housemates are to mention a single name once they go into the diary room for their nomination session.

    HOH privilege

    BBNaija All-Stars Eviction: All the Twists and Turns

    As usual, the HOH automatically gets immunity for the week and can’t be nominated for possible eviction by fellow housemates. However, it’s unsure if the immunity also extends to his/her chosen BFFs (friends for the week).

    This week, Adekunle emerged as HOH and chose Cross, Seyi, Soma and Frodd as BFFs. Big Brother extended immunity to them but said it might not be the case for other housemates in the coming weeks.

  • Every year, Big Brother Naija takes place, and like clockwork, the housemates pick the people whose eyes they want to stare into lovingly and pair up. You might think this year will be different…

    … but we know Biggie’s children, one thing will lead to another, and next thing these ships will begin to sail.

    Cross and Ilebaye

    We don’t know what might be going on there, but Ilebaye and Cross have been talking in hushed tones and giving each other looks for the two minutes they’ve been in Biggie’s house. They might decide to take things as seriously as any couple can in Biggie’s house or continue their little flirtations. Whatever they decide, we’re here for it.

    Soma and Angel

    We don’t want to read more into it, but Soma and Angel have already exchanged bracelets and made comments about being “smitten”. Given their respective track records, we can’t say how it’ll end, we can only cross our fingers and hope for the best.

    Pere and Mercy

    No one would have seen this coming, but when the general saw Mercy, he ran to ask Ike if they were done for good and he could try his luck. All the best to him on this journey he’s about to embark on.

    Mercy and Kiddwaya

    After being present for Pere’s chat with Ike, Kiddwaya went and pulled Mercy for a chat, spun her around, and complimented her beauty. He might want to act like it’s nothing, but we also saw them in the dressing room with their side-by-side lockers, and we’re watching. 

    Kiddwaya and Doyin

    If you know Kiddwaya, then you’ll know his rizz lies in him feeding his babes. He’s fed Doyin twice in the 15 hours they’ve been in the house. If he continues like this, Doyin will fall, and he’ll have no choice but to catch her.

    Ike and Ilebaye

    Nothing’s set in stone right now, but we can see Ilebaye’s trying to make alliances. We don’t know why she’s chosen Ike, but we can only wait for their next tete-a-tete with bated breath.

    Adekunle and Uriel

    We already know Uriel is ready for a ship this season, and after the five-minute interviewing flirting session that went down with Adekunle, all we have to do now is sit and wait for her to push the ship to sea.

  • The much-anticipated BBNaija All-Stars 2023 season is finally here, and it’s clear the organisers had one intention in mind: pure chaos.

    She’s back in the ‘All-Stars’ house because she felt she was ousted from the ‘Double Wahala’ season way too soon. For Princess, the world didn’t get to see all she had to offer, but they’ll be seeing that this season.

    Venita ( Pepper Dem, 2019)

    The actress has once again taken a break from Nollywood to join the race for Big Brother’s ₦‎120 million. We’re here for the drama sha.

    Neo Akpofure (Lockdown, 2020)

    Known as his season’s resident bad boy, the Lockdown ex-housemate is back for the ‘All-Stars’ edition because he has more to offer. Weirdly, he’s in the race for Biggie’s money with his cousin, Venita.

    Seyi Awolowo ( Pepper Dem, 2019)

    The ex ‘Pepper-Dem’ housemate said a lot has changed since we last saw him, especially since he’s now a father. This means we’re getting a new version of Seyi Awolowo in the All-Stars house. We’re SAT.

    Last seen in Biggie’s house during the Lockdown season, Tbaj is back for the BBNaija All-Stars 2023 edition to correct wrong impressions about her.

    Ike (Pepper Dem, 2020)

    Famous as the general of the ‘Lockdown’ season, Pere is back in the BBNaija ‘All-Stars’ house for another chance at the juicy prize money. We understand bro, it’s tough out there.

    Mercy Eke ( Pepper Dem, 2019)

    Lambo won the ‘Pepper Dem’ season, but that’s not enough reason to stop her from jumping on an opportunity to win again. According to her, “winners keep winning”.

    Adekunle (Level Up, 2022)

    Another ex-Lockdown housemate in 2022, Ilabaye is back to play the game because she feels like she didn’t get to do that well during her season. Fingers crossed.

    Angel (Shine Ya Eyes, 2021)

    The last time we saw Angel in Biggie’s house was during the ‘Shine Ya Eyes’ season, but she’s back to slug it out with the All-Stars.

    The ‘See Gobbe’ ex-housemate was known as the queen of the diary room during her season. She’s back to slug it out now that she has “worked on herself and is more confident to be on national TV.”

    Kiddwaya (Lockdown, 2020)

    The billionaire kid was a menace during his run in the ‘Lockdown’ season. He’s back in the ‘All-Stars’ house for the good vibes and money.

    Alex (Double Wahala, 2018)

    She was the queen of the dance floor during the ‘Double Wahala’ season. But it seems we’ll be getting an Alex 2.0 in the ‘All-Stars’ house now that she has gone through a lot of personal growth.

    Doyin (Level Up, 2022)

    Another fairly recent BBNaija alumni, Doyin has some unfinished business in the house, so when Big Brother called, she answered.

    The organisers are taking a different spin with what’s set to be the first BBNaija All-Stars season. Since there are rumours that some of our faves will be making a comeback, it’s only right to take a trip down memory lane and see the kind of drama we can anticipate in an all-star house. Let’s get into the chaos. 

    Ceec’s epic return (BBNaija Double Wahala, 2018)

    This is arguably one of the top ten moments in BBNaija history and it’s not number two to ten. Tobi, Miracle, Alex and Nina were celebrating their finalist status when Ceec pulled an epic entrance on them. They never saw it coming.

    Bisola’s April fool prank (BBNaija See Gobbe, 2017)

    Ex-housemates have pulled off pranks in Biggie’s house before, but they’d have to take an acting class from Bisola Aiyeola to do anything that comes remotely close to hers. She connived with Biggie to fake an eviction and boy, she ate up that announcement scene and fellow housemates were shaking.

    Tacha and Mercy’s fight (BBNaija Pepper Dem, 2019)

    Tacha and Mercy gave prime Eucharia Anunobi and Clarion Chukwura Abuja Connection energy in the house. Things reached a tipping point when they had a nasty faceoff that had Tacha getting physical and eventually disqualified from the season. Tacha started the fight after verbally attacking Mercy for keeping the house waiting during a task briefing.

    Lucy’s dramatic exit, (BBNaija Lockdown, 2020)

    “Bye, it was a pleasure”. Show me a more iconic exit in the history of the Big Brother franchise, I’ll wait. Lucy wasn’t having any of the backbiting and scheming that was going on in the house. She knew other housemates didn’t like her. There was no point sharing fake hugs and kisses with the same people who put her up for eviction.

    Pere’s military-styled address (BBNaija: Shine Ya Eyes, 2021)

    Shortly after emerging Head of House (HOH), Pere rounded up the housemates and gave them a military-style dressing down. His message: “Disrespect me as a person but the emblem on my neck signifies authority. So there will be no disrespect as long as I’m Head of House.” No HOH in the history of BBNaija has touched this level of audacity.

    Erica and Laycon’s fight (BBNaija Lockdown, 2020)

    You know some serious shit went down if a fight in Biggie’s house ends up with one party getting disqualified. Erica, under the influence of alcohol, verbally attacked Laycon for peddling a narrative that she liked him. “I will beat Laycon if I was not on two strikes. I don’t care if I am disqualified.” 

    Khloe and Anto’s return (BBNaija Pepper Dem, 2018)

    Second chances are rare in Biggie’s house but during the 2018 season, fans were given the chance to send two ex-housemates back in the house. Khloe and Anto snuck into the house some minutes past 3am while housemates were asleep and some viewers were wide awake.

    Saga’s emotional meltdown (BBNaija Shine Ya Eyes, 2021)

    Saga the lover boy had an epic emotional meltdown after his love interest, Nini, mysteriously disappeared from the house.  He was even ready to take his exit from the show meanwhile Nini was watching him lose his shit from a secret room the entire time.

    Bisola and Tboss’ fight over food (BBNaija See Gobbe, 2017)

    Some of the most chaotic fights in the BBNaija house started  from the kitchen, and honestly, we get it—food is a serious matter. Bisola was making French Toast for breakfast and Tboss who had had enough of it prodded her with many questions. Things went downhill from there with that moment driving an “aggressive person” narrative about Bisola. 

    Nengi and Ozoh’s eviction kiss (BBNaija Lockdown, 2020)

    COVID had us in a fix in 2020 but it doesn’t come close to the chokehold the Lockdown season had on viewers. Ozo, who had spent his entire stay fawning over Nengi, thought he was going to at least get a goodbye kiss after he got evicted. She, respectfully, swerved and dodged the kiss.

    There’s no bad bitch energy in BBNaija’s history that matches this iconic squabble between Tolani Baj and Kae3na. The ladies had a nasty fight after Kae3na refused to serve Tbaj when she asked for food.

    Hot sex goes down in the Big Brother house even though the housemates double down when Ebuka asks his famous probing questions. BamBam and Teddy A couldn’t escape the cameras when they went at it in the toilet. This scene caused chaos on Twitter NG but had the same people swooning when they tied the knot a few months after the show ended.
