The third season of the reality TV show The Real Housewives of Lagos is already heating up. If you’ve been waiting for the drama to kick off before tuning in, now is the perfect time to start. The housewives have been fighting over everything — from villa views and lateness (again) to ex-husbands, sort of.

In the most recent episode, nine, the housewives jet off to Ghana, and let’s just say, Ghana definitely knew it had visitors. The tension reached its peak when Caroline Hutchings put her hand on Dabota Lawson during a heated argument. If you guessed that this led to a fight, you’d be right.

So, we’ve decided to break down the defining clashes of the season so far. But before we do that, let’s see who’s leading in the drama department:

Fight Tally: Who’s Bringing the Most Drama?

1. Carolyna is the reigning queen of conflict with three fights and counting. Her Ghana showdown with Dabota might just be the most intense moment of the season so far.
2. Dabota isn’t far behind, also at three fights, proving that she’s not one to let things slide.
3. Mariam has had one major altercation, courtesy of a shady remark about Dabota’s relationship status.
4. Sophia mostly stays out of the mess, but she’s had a fight with Dabota over lateness and her gift-giving snub.
5. Diiadem has been caught in the crossfire once with Carolyna.

Breaking Down RHOL Season 3’s Biggest Clashes

Now, let’s get into all the fights that have rocked season 3 of The Real Housewives of Lagos so far:

Mariam vs. Dabota (Episode 2)

Mariam introduced Dabota to the housewives this season, but their friendship hit a snag at a tea event Mariam hosted in the first episode. While discussing communication in relationships, Mariam insisted that the signs of a bad relationship are always obvious.

Dabota disagreed, saying, “It’s not always the case. I will disagree with you.” Mariam fired back with, “And you’re still single?” This immediately created tension in the group, but Mariam later apologised.

Dabota vs. Sophia (Episodes 5 and 6)

Dabota hosted the ladies for a getaway at Ilashe and booked a boat for them. However, only Diiadem showed up on time. Although Carolyna and Mariam had called to inform her that they were coming, Dabota wasn’t aware that Sophia had her own boat and had arranged to travel separately.

Frustrated by the delay, Dabota decided to leave with Diiadem. When Sophia, Carolyna, and Mariam eventually arrived, Dabota confronted them for keeping her waiting. At a bonfire that night, she expressed her frustration, while Sophia complained about her room.

Things got even messier when Sophia gave all the ladies gifts — except for Dabota. The next day, a discussion meant to clear the air quickly escalated into a heated exchange, with Dabota and Sophia cursing each other out.

Carolyna vs. Diiadem  (Episode 6)

The morning after the bonfire, Carolyna and Diiadem had a conversation about the previous night’s events. Carolyna accused Diiadem of having an attitude, but Diiadem insisted it had nothing to do with the ladies. However, she admitted she didn’t appreciate their lateness.

The conversation escalated when Carolyna told Diiadem not to speak to her, making a hand gesture that she found disrespectful. Diiadem pushed back, saying she wasn’t being rude. Carolyna’s attempt to correct her didn’t sit well with Diiadem, leading to an argument. Later, Carolyna told the other ladies, “I don’t think she has a mind of her own. She is easily controlled.”

Carolyna vs. Dabota  (Episode 9)

Carolyna and Dabota started the season on good terms, but that didn’t last long. Dabota was supposed to visit Carolyna at home but claimed she had sprained her ankle. Instead, Carolyna visited Dabota’s house, where she was offended that Dabota didn’t eat with her.

Things worsened when Carolyna spotted Ehi Sayaveth (who Carolyna said she didn’t like) in Dabota’s house. “The moment I saw Ehi in your kitchen, my spirit left my soul,” she said.

Later, during a dinner hosted by Sophia, Carolyna claimed that Dabota had attended a party hosted by a woman who once dated her ex-husband, Musa Danjuma, in her “matrimonial home.” Laura later relayed this to Dabota, who denied the claim, saying she went because her cousin was the event planner.

By the time the housewives arrived in Ghana for a trip by Sophia, Carolyna and Dabota were not on speaking terms. Sophia attempted to get them to be cordial, but the situation escalated, leading to Carolyna pushing Dabota’s head — sparking one of the season’s biggest fights so far.
