“Just give me my red cup, Henny and a Coke” — Emeka*, 32, M
“I love a classic Hennessy and Coke mix before a night out. It’s sweet but has a nice kick. A splash of Hennessy in a glass, and top it off with some coke. It sets a great tone for the rest of the night. Once your boys bust out the Hennessy, you know we’re trying to have a great time.”
“Hennessy and ginger beer will take you there” — Biodun*, 25, F
“I love experimenting with my drinks. One day at a house party. I had a cup of ginger beer, and someone brought out a bottle of Hennessy. I didn’t want to say no or pour out my drink, so I asked him to give me a few splashes of the Henny. Best thing I’ve ever tasted. It had the fizziness of the ginger beer and the zing of the ginger, but the Hennessy flavour still came through. I mix this cocktail whenever I can get my hands on it.”
