Every year, MTVBase and music experts across Africa compile a list of talented artistes expected to stand out and 2017 is no different. The ‘Ones To Watch For 2017’ list which features 54 musicians across Africa  with 11 from Nigeria, was created based on the current and future potential of the artistes. The best part is, this list is not another meaningless selection, MTVBase plans on supporting these artistes with necessary support including online and on-air exposure and also promoting their video releases. Here are the 11 talented Nigerians that made the cut- and the songs that impressed the judges:
