Samson Toromade is the Storytelling and Community Lead at Archivi.ng and author of The Archivist dispatches. He helps shape the project’s editorial voice and contextual reporting. His work supports Archivi.ng’s mission to digitise and preserve Nigeria’s historical newspapers.
He is being honoured for his writing and community efforts to strengthen the public value of Archivi.ng’s archival work. He has helped frame Nigeria’s digitised history with accessible context and narrative depth. He also runs the Archivi.ng Fellowship and The August Event.
