Folayemi Agusto is a Nigerian entrepreneur and co-founder of tix.africa, the self-service ticketing and event management platform streamlining how organisers publish, promote and sell tickets across the continent. She also co-founded Eat.Drink.Lagos, drawing on her experience in digital media and events to help build tools that improve how experiences are discovered and managed.
She is being honoured for leading tix.africa’s continued growth and for launching Orbit, the mobile app that personalises event discovery, supports seamless ticket buying and storage, and enables transfers and resales. Orbit sharpens how users find experiences they care about and reflects her push to modernise event technology in Africa.
