Following a successful debut in 2025, Zikoko, Nigeria’s leading youth publication, has announced the return of the Naira Life Conference, its personal finance and wealth-building event. The live experience explores money, work, business, and wealth through practical conversations and real-life stories.

The second edition of the conference will take place on August 22, 2026, in Lagos, bringing together professionals, entrepreneurs, creatives, operators, and ambitious Nigerians navigating the realities of building wealth today.

This year’s conference theme — All About Wealth — reflects the evolving financial priorities of Nigerians across different stages of their money journey.

Built around the idea that wealth-building is deeply personal, the 2026 conference will focus on practical knowledge, actionable strategies, and honest conversations that help attendees move forward, regardless of the economic climate.

“Wherever you are in your wealth-building journey, the goal is for the conference to help you take the next step,” said Toheeb Lanlehin, Senior Editor at Zikoko. “We’re building the event around agency, how people position themselves for growth, stability, and opportunity even in a difficult economy.”

The Naira Life Conference launched in 2025 as an extension of Zikoko Money’s widely read Naira Life series, which documents the financial realities, ambitions, and decisions of Nigerians across income levels and work. The first edition drew more than 900 attendees and generated strong audience feedback, establishing the conference as a major new platform for conversations around money and economic mobility in Nigeria.

Past speakers have included Nike Ogunlesi, Godwin Tom, Maryam Apaokagi (Taaooma), Chijioke Dozie, Odun Eweniyi, Tunde Onakoya, Nimi Akinkugbe, Babajide Duroshola, and Seye Bandele, among other leaders across finance, business, media, and culture.

Compared to its debut edition, this year’s conference will place greater emphasis on utility. The programming is expected to speak more directly to mid- to senior-level professionals, business owners, and creatives actively making decisions about investing, scaling income, business growth, and long-term financial security.

According to Lanlehin, audience response played a major role in the decision to make the event an annual event.

“After the first conference, I went looking for reactions, and two comments stayed with me,” he said. “One person said the event had ‘fantastic ROI’ and they were already looking forward to the next one. Another said Zikoko had ‘really outdone themselves’ and couldn’t wait for it to happen again. What stood out was that people had already decided this conference deserved a future. There’s real demand for honest, useful conversations about money, and that’s why we’re building this into an annual experience.”

The 2026 edition will feature an expanded and more immersive programming slate, including live Naira Life storytelling sessions, investment-focused workshops, business and career sessions, and curated networking experiences designed to connect attendees with experts, operators, and opportunities.

“We’ve become much more deliberate about the kind of value the event delivers,” Lanlehin added. “People are not just looking for inspiration anymore. They want clarity, strategy, access, and tools they can actually apply to their lives. That has shaped everything from the sessions we’re building to the speakers we’re bringing into the room.”

Early bird tickets for the Naira Life Conference 2026 are now available in limited quantities.
