There’s something about a couple with great onscreen chemistry. One minute, you’re watching them fall in love in a Nollywood movie, and the next, you’re on your phone searching, “Are these two dating in real life?”

From lingering looks that felt a little too convincing to romantic scenes that left audiences gasping, these Nollywood movies had viewers wondering if there was more happening behind the scenes. And in some cases, the rumours weren’t entirely wrong.

    Love in Every Word

Bambam and Uzor Arukwe’s chemistry had the internet almost planning a real-life traditional wedding for them after Love in Every Word. Maybe it was the longing looks they shared, Obiora’s “Odogwu” energy or the way Chioma slowly melted around him, but their chemistry was so convincing that viewers started wondering if the romance continued after the cameras stopped rolling.
