The Big Brother Naija 10/10 season is already shaping up to be one of the most memorable in the show’s history. The housemates clearly didn’t come to play. From strategic ships and dramatic tears to even dressing up as fictional characters, everyone seems determined to entertain.
Outside the house, fans have also started picking their faves and forming strong alliances. But who actually has what it takes to win? We break down the top contenders, looking at their standing both inside the house and with fans — and score their chances from 1 to 10.
Mensan

Standing with housemates
Mensan is one of the most unpopular housemates this season. He has clashed with multiple housemates, including Kaybobo and Thelma, and his garrulous nature has made him a constant target. As it stands, he’s likely to be nominated for eviction whenever the chance arises.
Standing with fans
Outside the house, Mensan’s support has been shaky. He started strong in the first week, drawing a surge of fans, but many have since abandoned him, citing his loud and abrasive personality. Still, some fans insist they’ll keep him around for the drama and entertainment value.
He has also been working to appeal to Port Harcourt and Warri viewers — a voting bloc that’s historically unpredictable (they are not vocal online) but extremely powerful. They were decisive in the wins of Efe and Phyna, and could rally behind Mensan if he manages to keep their attention. Typically, they like a housemate on the offence against someone like Kola. Phyna was rewarded for her clash with Sheggz.
Chances of winning: 9/10
Imisi

Standing with housemates
At the start of the season, Imisi was a fan favourite inside the house. She leaned into a Jenifa-style personality and positioned herself as coming from a low-income background — and the housemates embraced her. But over time, her stock has fallen.
Multiple fights have shifted her image from the “voice of the street” to a “nuisance.” In one viral exchange, Faith dismissed her as an “uneducated Yoruba alubosa.” More recently, her long fight with Rooboy became a turning point: as the two went back and forth for hours, none of the housemates bothered to step in. When she accused him of calling her poor, Rooboy denied it outright and instead called her out for playing the pity card.
Standing with fans
Imisi’s popularity with fans has also started to slip. She’s undeniably one of the most entertaining housemates, but viewers quickly clocked that it was all an act — from the bad makeup to the odd fashion choices, sometimes even dressing like Jenifa. When old pictures of her looking chic surfaced online, fans realised she was performing a character. Still, many have stuck with it because she is fun to watch.
Historically, her “underdog” brand works well. Fans love a housemate who’s looked down on by others — think Ilebaye, who went on to win All Stars, or Nina, who made it to the semi-finals. Imisi’s close friendship with Dede, whose brand is the polar opposite, is also a strong play. Feminist audiences especially love the dynamic. But as past seasons have shown, while feminist fans can be vocal on social media, that doesn’t always translate to wins.
Chances of winning: 9/10
Koyin

Standing with housemates
In the house, Koyin has built strong relationships and earned the favour of most housemates. His new ship with Dede seems to be growing steadily, and if Biggie introduces a housemate-save twist this season, he’s one of the few who would almost certainly be rescued.
Standing with fans
Outside the house, Koyin is both beloved and highly popular. Many women openly crush on him, and he trends regularly on social media — helped by the fact that he was the first housemate to cry this season. The main knock against him is authenticity; it’s not clear what his strategy is or what his “brand” represents. Still, fans love him regardless, and his appeal keeps growing.
Chances of winning: 9/10

Kuture

Standing with housemates
Kuture is very popular among the housemates. His low-income background brand has been widely embraced, and they seem to genuinely enjoy interacting with him. Crucially, they don’t see him as competition, which works in his favour. If Big Brother introduced a twist where housemates had to vote to save someone from eviction, this goodwill would likely protect him.
However, some — including Bright Morgan and Jason Jay — have come to expect not just loyalty but also submission from him. Kuture will need to navigate that dynamic carefully if he wants to go far in the game.
Standing with fans
With fans, Kuture has struggled with authenticity. He doesn’t yet have a loyal base because his brand feels unclear. That said, viewers have warmed up to his humility. His grass-to-grace story — growing up in Ajegunle — resonates strongly, and fans love an underdog narrative. Still, he hasn’t given them a clear reason to support him all the way to the end.
When Miracle, another grass-to-grace contestant, won his season, what ultimately moved the needle was a tangible purpose: he wanted the prize money to pay for aviation school. That gave fans a concrete reason to root for him. Kuture hasn’t yet offered that kind of brand identity or purpose, and that may cost him support in the long run.
Chances of winning: 8/10
Bright Morgan

Standing with housemates
Bright Morgan has had mostly smooth sailing in the house. His ship with Mide has become a housemates’ favourite, and he seems to know exactly how to keep her happy. Still, flashes of a temper — especially his clash with Kayikunmi — combined with a double strike from Biggie, have put a slight dent in his otherwise solid standing.
Standing with fans
Bright is a certified fan favourite. As an actor, he already entered the house with an existing fanbase, and they’ve proven fiercely loyal. When his former social media handler made a damaging (and false) sexual harassment accusation, fans quickly mobilised — getting him a new handler and pushing the old one out. His ship with Mide is also one of the rare pairings that fans actively root for, boosting his momentum outside the house. Even if he doesn’t win, a cushy career in Nollywood is guaranteed.
Chances of winning: 8/10
Dede

Standing with housemates
Dede has a strong shot at making it to the finale. Her ‘pretty girl’ aesthetics have earned her plenty of attention from the guys in the house, but not so much from the ladies. To be fair, Dede partly played herself. In the early days, she barely mingled. Naturally, that rubbed both the other housemates the wrong way.
Isabella, Sultana, and Doris have repeatedly criticised her for coming across as “snobbish.” Weeks later, her reputation with housemates hasn’t improved much, even though they now know her better.
Standing with fans
Outside the house, Dede has managed to build a loyal cult following. Her supporters include Erica and Nengi stan accounts, a fanbase that is passionate and goes all out for their faves. But it’s also a niche crowd: mostly women, with very few men.
Historically, their faves rarely win, but they almost always make it to the finale — like Nengi and CeeC did in their seasons. CeeC fans are also rooting for her, but what she needs to win are Mercy’s fans, the strongest bloc in the history of the show. They have only ever supported Mercy.
However, if Dede survives eviction nights, she’s practically guaranteed a seat at the finale, and plenty of endorsement deals after.
Chances of winning: 7/10
Rooboy

Standing with housemates
Rooboy has emerged as a very influential voice in the house. Many of the housemates see him as authentic and often confide in him. As a professional hypeman outside the show, his energy carries over — housemates love how he hypes them at parties.
However, his ongoing fight with Imisi, which has stretched for two weeks, has ironically boosted his standing. Since most housemates don’t like Imisi very much, Rooboy’s chances of being saved by them in a potential housemate vote are very high.
Standing with fans
Outside the house, Rooboy has built a cult following. His Lagos Island “sharp boy” brand resonates well, and his authenticity has kept viewers entertained. Still, the fight with Imisi has cost him significantly. He called her “a bitch,” which alienated a large base of female fans who now see him as a bully and “too razz.” While perceptions can change as the season unfolds, this controversy has damaged his broader appeal.
Chances of winning: 7/10
Isabella

Standing with housemates
From the onset, Isabella’s relationship with the women in the house has been rocky. In the very first week, she made it clear she wasn’t interested in mingling with them. While her ships — especially with Kayikunmi — gained traction for a while, they ended quickly. She’s also had multiple fights in the house, which has hurt her popularity and strained her standing with the other housemates.
Standing with fans
Isabella is one of the most polarising housemates this season. Many fans “hate-watch” her dynamic with Kayikunmi, especially after she let him suck her breast on screen. The move drew backlash from older viewers, but feminists (including this magazine) defended her, calling out the misogyny she faced. That gave her some goodwill amongst women, but her anti-women comments and habit of alienating female housemates have kept her from fully capitalising on that support. However, she gets little airtime, which limits her overall popularity compared to other housemates.
Chances of winning: 7/10
Sultana

Standing with housemates
Sultana is still in the good graces of most housemates, but only for now. She’s one of the season’s most brutal gossips, regularly insulting housemates behind their backs. It feels like only a matter of time before they clock her strategy and she shifts from ally to persona non grata.
Standing with fans
Sultana started strong, especially among northern women (she’s from Adamawa), but her popularity has dipped. Multiple clips of her gossiping have gone viral — from calling Dede “dull” to claiming Isabella had butt fillers. While some northern fans remain loyal, many viewers now see her as more of an entertainer than a real contender. No housemate with a “gossip brand” has ever gone on to win.
Chances of winning: 5/10
Jason Jae

Standing with housemates
Jason Jae was the first Head of House, which earned him a lot of attention, but also painted a target on his back. His communication style has been criticised, making him unpopular among housemates. He has also attempted to form ships with Dede, Doris, and Sultana, but none have fully taken off. To regain favour, he’ll need to tread carefully and rebuild trust.
Standing with fans
Jason Jae hasn’t delivered the “hit factor” fans were expecting. While he initially attracted attention as the first Head of House, he quickly lost momentum, and many fans drifted away. Still, he’s not completely out of the running. Some female fans have suggested he’d be more appealing if he focused on pursuing one woman consistently instead of chasing multiple at once.
Chances of winning: 5/10
Kola

Standing with housemates
Kola’s popularity with the housemates is low — not because of anything he has directly done, but because of who he is. A nepo baby, he hasn’t made much effort to blend in or “play to the gallery,” often flaunting his fancy beauty products in front of housemates who struggle to relate to him. Some have even nicknamed him “the sleeping prince.”
He’s expressed frustration with the label in his diary sessions, once admitting he vibed better with Sabrian because she’s from Toronto and they share similar backgrounds. If he ever voices that sentiment to the wider house, it could come off as condescending.
Standing with fans
Kola’s “fashion boy” persona hasn’t earned him a strong following outside the house. His attempt at a ship with Dede fell flat, and a fine boy without a love interest in the house rarely goes far. While his team’s campaign has been impressive, fan interest has steadily dwindled the longer he stays single. Worse, his Toronto comments could set him up as a post-show villain if viewers interpret him as arrogant or dismissive.
Chances of winning: 3/10
