First drop: June 25, 2025 | Every Wednesday at 11 a.m.

Navigating life as a woman in the world today is interesting. From Nigeria to Timbuktu, it’ll amaze you how similar all our experiences are. Every Wednesday, women the world over will share their experiences on everything from sex to politics right here.
You’ve missed her. We have too.
What She Said, our signature flagship series that held space for Nigerian and African women to speak freely, honestly, and in their own words, is making her return. After a hiatus, we’re back with even more intention.
We’ve always been about real stories. The ones that make you pause, send a link to your group chat, or feel a little less alone. But this time around, we’re going even deeper.
You should expect:
- Bigger stories told across all our platforms — the website, the newsletter, Instagram, and so on.
- More voices that rarely get the mic — queer women, disabled women, plus size women, women outside Lagos.
- And stories that do more than just sit pretty — they’ll make you feel, reflect, and maybe even speak up.
If you’ve been here before, you’ll recognize us. Same format. Same honesty. Just more of it, and on a louder frequency.
Our first story drops next week on Wednesday. And every week after that, we’ll be right here, at 11 a.m., ready to speak.
Don’t forget to subscribe to the HER newsletter so you don’t miss it!
See you then.
Love,
HER
