From private jets to mansions, these six Nigerian mega-pastors have been recipients of mega gifts from those thankful for their divine service.
Bishop David Oyedepo – approx. ₦800m–₦1bn each

For his 70th birthday in 2024, Bishop Oyedepo was gifted two brand new Rolls-Royce Cullinans by his “spiritual sons,” including Bishop David Ibiyeomie and Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo.
Pastor Jerry Eze – approx. ₦500 million

Just last month, Nigerian socialite Obi Cubana gifted his longtime friend and pastor, Jerry Eze, a ₦500 million mansion to celebrate the pastor’s 44th birthday.
Bishop Tom Samson — approx. ₦132.8 million

In 2016, Bishop Samson was gifted a 2014 Rolls-Royce Phantom for his 50th birthday by his organising committee and congregation.
Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor — approx. ₦769.3 million

In 2012, pastor Oritsejafor was presented with a pre-owned Bombardier Challenger 601 private jet for his birthday. The money for the gift was crowd-funded by his congregation.
Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo — approx. ₦1.5 billion

In 2025, pastor Fatoyinbo celebrated his 50th birthday and received a Rolls-Royce from his “spiritual sons.” The pastor called this gift a consequence of his own gift-giving.
Pastor David Ibiyeomie — “millions of naira”

In 2021, Pastor Ibiyeomie revealed that Pastor Komaiya gifted him 12 cars in 12 months and a luxury wristwatch. Ibiyeomie said they were worth millions of naira.
