Welcome to the daily Ultimate Love recap. Ultimate Love is the hottest reality show in town, and we’ll be giving you a recap of all the drama, the awwns and the ehyas. Stick around!

At the beginning of every week, there’s always a task brief for the Love Guests to work on for the week and present on Saturday evenings.

A quick recap of the task presentation.

This week’s task brought the Igbo traditional marriage — the Igba Nkwu ceremony to the spotlight, and it was brilliantly executed by all the 22 Love Guests.

David Wilson played the heck out of his role as the funny and shady MC Okponku.

Iyke and Theresa were the couple, and this  presentation could have easily passed as their traditional marriage ceremony.

Cherry killed  her role as that extra Igbo mother of the bride. Her daughter who’s a doctor got married to a marine engineer so it’s only right for her to show up and show out.

Cherry has attended nothing less than 20 August meetings in Nnewi, trust me.

Louis was Mazi Onukwube and he gave a stellar performance as the greedy uncle from the Bride’s family. That one is coming for Osoufia and Chiwetalu Agu’s roles in Nollywood.

Of course the Umu Adas fought over the Ihe Nwanyi (women’s things) that the groom’s family gave them.  The Oluchi in Bolanle jumped out, and Presh hustled hard for Umu Ada’s fifty thousand Naira and Hollandis fabrics.

Nollywood better not sleep on these people.

Jay and Chris were the groom’s parents and they came correct. Chris channelled her inner sophisticated mother of the groom that is not exactly impressed with her son’s choice, but still had to smile for the culture.

It was their best task presentation, yet!
