There’s so much new music being released that it’s hard for even the most loyal fans to wade through the trash to find the gems. That’s why we’ve created #BumpThis – a Friday series that features new songs, by and featuring Nigerians, that you absolutely need to hear.

Wretch32 — “All In” ft. Burna Boy

Burna Boy has been one of 2019’s busiest stars. He not only dropped his best-ever album, African Giant, but he also found time to work with Beyoncé, Jorja Smith, Dave and more. Now, the afro-fusion star is back with another fire collaboration, and this time it’s on Wretch 32’s “All In”.

A standout track off the UK rapper’s new album, Upon Reflection, “All In” is a surprisingly sultry song about love and sex. Like with most of the feature’s he’s done this year, Burna Boy manages to steal the entire show, delivering a killer second verse and utterly dominating the hook.

Niniola — “Pocket”

Niniola is every producer’s dream — her stunning voice can tackle any genre, ranging from pop-rock to afro-house. So, it comes as no surprise that Precision Productions, known for enlisting international stars for their soca bangers, recently teamed up with her on “Pocket”.

Like most Niniola-led bops, “Pocket” is a catchy, sex-positive love song. As she rhymes “I dey your pocket” with “fill up my socket” on the simply yet infectious chorus, we are immediately reminded that 2019 has been painfully devoid of her signature brand of dance-pop goodness.
