Old Nollywood scammed us in many different ways like this list of 16 Things Nollywood Still Owes Us An Explanation For. Here are 5 other lies Old Nollywood tricked us into accepting as facts.

1. Mother-in-laws are always wicked

The painful part of this lie is that they made us believe that these wicked mother in laws will go further to offer you money so you can leave their son/daughter. Scam of the century.

2. Good girls always win.

Old Nollywood had us believing that if you wore long skirts, made church your second home, and refused to wear makeup one day a rich young man from the city will find you and crown you with his surname. But after years and years of dating and adulting, we have uncovered that scam. Better hustle for your happy ending.

2. Rich guy will fall in love with poor girl.
