Feminism has gotten a really really bad rep on Nigerian Twitter. I mean, you’d think with all the times it has been discussed on our timelines, people would have finally gotten the plot. Sadly, that still isn’t so.
Case in point:

Thankfully, we still have a number of people that totally get what the movement is about, and have refused to stop trying to enlighten others in their own way.

1. Reducing Feminism to ‘domestic chores’ is extremely reductive.
Feminism is a lot more than who cooks and who washes boxers and who pays for dates. But for some reason that's what we keep discussing.
