1. If you are a girl, when greeting you must kneel down no matter where you are.

2. If you are a guy, you must dobale and lie flat on the floor, like a human rug.

3. When someone’s parents offer you a meal, you must say yes! Even if you’ve just eaten.

4. You learn that everything can possibly be a greeting. “E ku harmattan oh!”

5. When you see other people calling their elder siblings by their names without adding “brother” or “sister”.

6. When you see some people wearing shoes in the house.

7. When you want to drag someone older than you but home training makes you add “ma” or “sir” before every insult.

8. When your parents call you on the phone you stand up or kneel down to talk to them.
