When chatting with a Nigerian there’s a 99.9% chance that they will throw one of these routine annoying questions at you.
1. “Where do you base?”
When I am not a naval officer? Please swerve.
2. Asking “How far?” right after asking “How are you?”.
Is there a difference in both questions that I am not aware of? Or should I just copy and paste my first answer.
3. Have you eaten?
The problem with this question is that if your reply is “No” their response will not be “Send your account details”. Their response will be something along the lines of “Ahn ahn, go and eat now”. As if you have been sitting in your house and wallowing in hunger just because no one has told you to go and eat yet.
4. “How was your night?”
Which content are they looking for with this question? Or does something else go on at night that they expect us to start reporting? Throw this question away please.
5. “Can I chat u on whatsapp?”
Alaye just say you want my number. Is the chat we are chatting here be different from the chat on Whatsapp?
