Being single is so underrated. Everybody wants to be someone’s boo/bae so they can maximize all the weather for two the year brings. But let me tell you for free, staying single is life! Here are 10 reasons why being single actually makes your life easier.
1. You sleep peacefully knowing that nobody is cheating on you.
You can’t cheat on the booless. It’s simple logic fam.
2. You don’t have to explain why you didn’t pick your calls.
Probably because no one is even calling you in the first place but you get the drift.
3. Who is she/he?
Not your portion fam.
3. We need to talk.
People in relationships know how much of a Pandora’s box that tiny phrase is, But guess what? It’s not your problem either.
4. Nobody is serving you passive-aggressive vibes for an offense you may or may not have committed.
Just thank God and continue chilling.
5. You don’t have to plan any grand romantic surprise for special occasions.
No anniversary surprise, no birthday surprise you don’t have to send trumpet to anybody’s office.
6. Your life choices only affect you.
You don’t have to draft a SWOT analysis for your significant other any time you want to make a huge life decision.
7. You don’t have to shalaye on a regular.
You don’t have to explain what you meant or why you did what you did or why you feel the way you do. It’s just you so you can wallow in confusion.
8. You can flirt with or check out anyone.
And thunder will not fire you.
9. You don’t have to make compromises.
It’s just you and yourself living your best life with a license to be selfish.
10. You don’t have to report or update your movements with anybody.
Because no one is tracking your movements. This may be because no one cares but the point is this; you are free to go where you want when you want, and how you want to.
