Being on lowcut actually comes with a lot of perks, but because someone that was present during the conference on creation had the bright idea to make everything have an advantage and disadvantage here I am writing about the annoying struggles after having written about the perks.
1. The disrespect.
People will boldly ask a grown-ass thirty-something-year-old woman how her Waec exams are going because she is on lowcut.
2. The styling limitations.
Yes we can wear wigs and turn up the looks but sometimes we just want to pack our hair into a cute nonchalant sexy bun.
3. Finding a good barber that understands the intricacy of styling a woman’s head.
It typically takes an average of 5 awkward haircuts with the wrong barbers before we find that right barber that just gets it right. That’s probably 3 months of walking around town in a stupid haircut.
4. The struggle of buying a good personal clipper.
Because it’s a woman buying everyone will be looking to cheat us. They will just be using us to catch cruise.
5. Busybodies constantly asking why you cut your hair.
As if a woman being on low cut has to be a dramatic gesture or expression of some sort.
